I’m fascinated by the transition layers between the tightly-knit dune grass roots and the leaching textures created as rivulets of salt sea water and rain create vertical channels interacting with the sand. Along the Northumberland coast (especially Warkworth) the dunes stretch for miles and each year I visit you can see the coastal landscape altering.
